Lady Fox Soaps contain varying amounts of some or all of the following:

Olive Oil:

A natural, healthy moisturizer that contains vitamin E, which has healing properties. It is mot moisturizing in and of itself, but tends to pull moisture out of the air and onto the skin, where it forms a light, breathable layer that holds the moisture in. In soap, olive oil brings a mild quality. The more olive oil used, the better the soap will be for sensitive skin. It doesn't lend itself to a hard bar, nor a good lather, so other oils must be used to create a good bar of soap.

Coconut Oil:

Since its discovery, soap making has never been the same. Because of its nature, coconut oil has led to higher quality soaps. The oil is moisturizing only to a point, and if too much is used, can be drying. It helps create a nice hard bar of soap, and leads to a rich lather.

Palm Oil:

Unlike coconut oil, palm oil does not have a drying effect in larger quantities. It doesn't have a great deal of cosmetic effects, but helps produce a hard bar of soap. Combined with coconut oil, it helps create a moisturizing, healing bar of soap.

Avocado Oil:

This oil contains a large amount of nutrients that are unaffected by the saponification process. This causes soap made using this oil to be very good for skin. Avocado oil contains proteins, amino acids, and vitamins A, D, and E. It gives soap a wonderful, soft quality. The more avocado oil used, the more healing the effect of the soap.

Sweet Almond Oil:

This oil is good for more dry, sensitive skin. It contains vitamin E, and lends a moisturizing property to soap when added as a super-fatting agent.

Castor Oil:

This oil acts as a moisturizer and humectant. It helps draw moisture to the skin and keep it there. It is especially good in shampoo bars.

Essential Oils:

All scents in Lady Fox Soaps are from essential oils. All natural, not synthetic fragrance oils, so you can be sure that you'll have no adverse reactions to any of the fragrances due to chemicals.
